Covid-19 Response: Business Continuity

We take our responsibility to public health very seriously. Our business continuity plan is in place and we are following UK Government advice to socially distance. We have cancelled all face to face meetings and opt instead for video and telephone conferencing. Our teams are urged and encouraged to follow the current scientific advice to protect themselves whilst they continue to work from home. While we deal with new client enquiries, we are recruiting additional secretaries and we assure you that we are adhering to our strict recruitment policies to maintain our exceptionally quality of service. Advice from the UK Government could be to work from home

The UK Government is asking businesses and workers to work from home. Great! Such a lovely idea. If you want your secretaries to work from home here’s what you need to deal with: Your employee needs to have a dedicated workspace in their home that meets health and safety requirements. Ideally you should be inspecting this on a regular basis. You are responsible for all of their equipment and that can also include broadband connectivity, computer hardware, and the chair they sit in.
